A Sequoyah High School student has won an international award for her marketing skills!
Hanna Palmer earned the Award of Excellence for Apparel & Accessories Marketing at the 2018 DECA International Career Development Conference in Atlanta. The Conference was the pinnacle of competition for the student marketing association, where more than 19,000 students from around the world vied for international honors.
Summer Externship program gives CCSD counselors a peek into careers in local industries

CCSD school nurses and Cherokee County Fire & Emergency Services trained more than 300 school employees on how to stop severe bleeding in a victim.
Softball tryouts will be May 17th and May 18th from 4:30-7:30.

The Georgia Department of Education identifies and honors high school seniors who have achieved excellence in school and community life with this prestigious title, which only 208 seniors statewide have earned this year. Georgia Scholars receive a special diploma seal.
Sequoyah High School’s honorees are Patrick Ballance, Loren Cagle and Madeline Doerr.
