Welcome to the Student Services homepage for the Cherokee County School District (CCSD).  Student Services is part of the Division of School Operations and supports the district’s counselors, social workers, students support specialists, and nurses.  We also coordinate CCSD’s Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) Initiative across all schools and learning centers – CCSD C.A.R.E.S.

Cultivating Achievement, Resiliency, and the Empowerment of Students (C.A.R.E.S.) represents CCSD’s belief in strengthening our school community through a focus on Social and Emotional Learning, a process through which children and adults acquire and effectively apply the knowledge, attitudes and skills necessary to:

  • understand and manage emotions,
  • set and achieve positive goals,
  • feel and show empathy for others,
  • establish and maintain positive relationships and
  • make responsible decisions.

Our vision is that all CCSD students will thrive today, tomorrow, and throughout life with a sense of purpose and self-worth.  We welcome you to the website and look forward to supporting our school district community in the SEL journey.

Stay safe.  Be well.
