Woodstock High School’s career education program has received a boost from a local business.

Pilgrim’s of Canton donated $5,000 through its Hometown Strong Program to the school’s Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) program.

Through the career education and service club, students explore careers, participate in community service projects, and compete in career-related contests at the Region and State level.  The national organization’s programs most directly support Career Pathways in Human Services, Hospitality and Tourism, Education and Training, and Visual Arts and Design.

Teacher Adrienne Fagan, the Woodstock FCCLA advisor, said the donated funds will be used to support community service projects.
