The Cherokee County School District is beginning a new service for families registering students for school.

The Centralized Summer Registration Center will allow parents to complete the process for registering students -- in any grade who will be new to CCSD for the 2019-20 school year -- early in the summer break, rather than waiting for school front offices to reopen.

The report is posted online here and provides financial additional information to the community in advance of the School Board’s public hearings and budget adoption.

You can complete the online process in about 15 minutes and set up a time to visit the school and verify your required legal documents. All CCSD employee and student email addresses are changing, effective March 22nd.

Currently, all student and employee email addresses end with @cherokee.k12.ga.us but that will change on March 22nd. 

All accounts will be changed to a default of @cherokeek12.net.

Emails sent to the old addresses will still be received with the exception of the Bascomb Office.  

Effective immediately, please send transportation changes to Bascomb.Office@cherokeek12.net.  Emails sent to the old Bascomb office address will not be received.

School Doors Open - 7:00 a.m.

Enter Classrooms - 7:30 a.m.

Tardy Bell Rings - 7:40 a.m. (This is a new start time!)

No dismissals after 1:45 p.m.

School Day Ends - 2:15 p.m.

Buses dismiss before car riders.

Transportation Changes- If you must make transportation changes after the school day has begun, please notify the Bascomb office.  Bascomb.Office@cherokeek12.net
