Jason Hubbard Creekview Teacher of the Year!!

Coach Hubbard was born and raised in Cherokee County. He attended Hickory Flat Elementary, Dean Rusk Middle, and graduated from Sequoyah High School. He then attended Reinhardt college as a math major then transferred to the University of West Georgia graduating with a degree in Mathematics and a minor in Secondary Education. Coach Hubbard completed his Masters in Mathematics Education at Piedmont University. He taught for half a year at Lithia Springs High school after graduating mid school year then was able to get home and began teaching Math at Woodstock High. Coach Hubbard married his wife, Holly in 2000, and their son, Seth was born in 2002. Seth was born extremely premature weighing a mere 1lb 10oz. He is a walking miracle.

Coach Hubbard left teaching briefly to pursue a deep interest he had in protection and Law Enforcement. He put himself through the police academy and got a job as a police officer with the Southern Polytechnic State University Police. After a few years policing, he felt pulled back to education. Coach Hubbard feels privileged to have been part of the group of teachers that got hired to open Creekview High School as a Math teacher and boys basketball coach. A few years in, he was asked to build a Criminal Justice program at Creekview which finally brought his two passions together. He has been teaching Law and Justice at Creekview since 2008. This is his 22nd year as an educator and he feels blessed to still be part of the Creekview family since day one.

Congratualtions Coach Hubbard!! We are proud of you!!
