Creekview High School opened its doors for the first time in August of 2006 with a student body comprised of ninth and tenth graders. 11th grade was added for the 2007/2008 school year . Our first senior class graduated in May 2009.

School District and Community
The Cherokee County School District is a rural/metro district which encompasses more than 423 square miles. Located about 40 miles north of Atlanta, Creekview High School is one of six high schools, seven middle schools, 24 elementary schools, Ralph Bunche Head Start Center, one alternative school for MS/HS, and one fully certified evening program. CCSD is one of the fastest growing districts in the state with a current enrollment of 41,128. In October of 2006, CCSD was one of the first to achieve District Accreditation as a Quality School System (SACS CASI). Creekview High School is accredited by the Georgia Accrediting Commission and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
