Career, Technical & Agricultural Education

This week’s CCSD Pathway Profile focuses on Veterinary Science and Equine Science, with both programs offered at Creekview High School and the former offered at Etowah High School.  

Within the Pathway, classes offered include: introduction to software technology, computer science principles or AP Computer Science Principles and web development.  Students can earn Microsoft Office Specialist and Certified Internet Web Professional industry certifications and can compete with the school’s TSA (Technology Student Association), First Robotics of Georgia and Skills USA teams in regional, state and national career competitions.

Within the Pathway, classes offered include: automotive technology I, II and III.  Students can earn Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) and OSHA 10 industry certifications.  They can compete in SkillsUSA state and national career skills contests. This Pathway prepares students for careers including, but not limited to: automotive master mechanic, automotive specialty technician, engine and other machine assembler, automotive technician builder, automotive general manager, automotive inventory control specialist, service manager, automotive parts associate.
