Athletes of the Month

The Cherokee County School District recognizes  a CCSD Female Athlete of the Month and Male Athlete of the Month each month.  Outstanding student athletes are nominated by their high schools, and a committee selects an overall winner.  The winners receive a T-shirt sponsored by BSN, a certificate and recognition on CCSD’s athletics website and social media.

Each month we celebrate a CCSD Female Athlete of the Month and a CCSD Male Athlete of the Month.  Congratulations to this month’s winners: Sarah Vehar of the Sequoyah High School wrestling team, whose coaches are Jacob Hewgley and Joe Hulen; and Josh Schulze of the Woodstock High School basketball team, whose head coach is Eric Blair.
