School Nurses

All CCSD schools have a school nurse to serve as a health resource and liaison, dispense medication, and render short-term care for injuries and illness.  All CCSD nurses are Registered Nurses (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN).

Please contact the Lead Nurse for your school zone if your child requires management during the school day for one of the following health conditions:

  • Allergies
  • Asthma
  • Diabetes
  • Feeding Orders
  • Gastrostomy Tubes
  • Intermittent Catheterizations
  • Intravenous Medication
  • Mechanical Ventilation
  • Oxygen Therapy
  • Seizures
  • Suctioning
  • Tracheostomy
