This spring, stakeholder feedback from across our community helped shape our strategic plan, Elevate 2032,  which also drove a districtwide facilities improvement roadmap. Cherokee County voters will consider these plans on   November 3 through a renewal of the current penny for schools.

Our Vision:  We are committed to creating opportunities for every learner to achieve academic success, build strong relationships, contribute to the community, and thrive in life.

Ed-SPLOST History

99% of proposed Ed-SPLOST projects are student serving and school-based projects. 

The remaining 1% is proposed for maintenance and upkeep of district facilities.

Ed-SPLOST has been an essential tool for building and improving schools in Cherokee County, helping us keep pace during years of rapid population growth and rising student enrollment. Today, while student enrollment is projected to have stabilized, Ed-SPLOST is essential to responsibly update and maintain aging school facilities as well as invest more in  academics, the arts and athletics without impacting property tax.
