I graduated from Kennesaw State University in 2003 with a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education. In 2009 I earned my Master's Degree from KSU in Adolescent Education with a Science concentration. In 2012 I earned my Gifted Certification and was also awarded the honor of becoming a Georgia Master Teacher. Sadly, the time period for my Master Teacher status ended last April, but I will always be proud of my accomplishment!
This year will be my 17th year teaching and my 8th year at E.T. Booth. Prior to teaching at E.T. Booth, I taught fifth grade at Chapman Intermediate for 8 years. I am the grade level liaison for 6th grade and the team leader for my community. I come from a family of teachers and am a Cherokee County native. I continue to be excited to teach in the county I grew up in!
