Chuck Pruitt

2020 - 2021 Eighth Grade Last Updated: 7/28/2020 7:10 PM

My name is Chuck Pruitt and I have been teaching for fourteen years.  I began my teaching career in Forsyth County at Riverwatch Middle School teaching sixth grade math.  I also coached eighth grade boys’ basketball, which lead me to teaching Connections and eventually coaching PE/Health.  Upon moving to Cherokee County, I was very excited to get back into the classroom teaching eighth grade Georgia Studies.  This will be my fourth year teaching Georgia History here at ET Booth.  I truly believe the saying of you cannot see where you are going until you look back and see where you have been.  Obviously, I believe history is very important to the future of our country, state, county, school, and even each individual person!  I am very proud to be a part of our Social Studies Department here at ET Booth Middle School.

I grew up in Forsyth County and graduated from North Forsyth High School.  I continued on to my college career gaining my two-year degree straight out of high school from Gainesville College.  I then took some time off and worked for four years to save money for college as well as working throughout my college career.  I am very proud to say that I do not owe anyone any money for my college degree.  I then re-enrolled to North Georgia State and College University and received my Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics and Social Science in 2004.  I am currently certified in Middle Grades Math, Social Studies, Reading and PE/Health.  I also have my Gifted certification as well as being MIE certified.

I am definitely excited and eager to begin a new year here at ET Booth Middle School.  I am honored to teach with such an amazing staff and team.  I am proud to be a Falcon and I know you will be too!  Please feel free to email me with any questions or concerns at

Thank you and I look forward to a great year!
