2020 - 2021 Special Education Last Updated: 7/28/2020 8:18 PM

Hello, my name is Cody Thomas. I am a life-long resident of Cherokee County, GA. I graduated from Sequoyah High School in 2007. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Middle Grades Education in 2011 from Kennesaw State University. I earned my Masters in Early Childhood Education in 2016 and my Educational Specialist degree in Curriculum and Instruction in 2018, both from Piedmont College. I finished an add-on to my Specialist degree in Educational Leadership in May 2019.

The 2020-2021 school year will be my ninth year teaching and my second year at E.T. Booth. I have taught both in middle and elementary school settings in both general education and special education. I have taught Reading, Math, Language Arts, and Social Studies. I enjoy being part of the 7th Grade Team and teaching Math at Booth.

My wife Brittney and I have been married almost seven years and live in Canton. We are actively involved in church and enjoy spending time with family and friends. I love sweet tea, just about all things with superheroes, and I enjoy doing woodworking and DIY projects. I’m proud to be part of the Falcon Family at E.T. Booth Middle School! I hope we can make it a fantastic year!
