2019 - 2020
Todd Sharrock, Principal Mr. Todd Sharrock, Principal

My name is Todd Sharrock and I am honored to lead the Falcon Family this year as the Principal of E.T. Booth Middle School.  I began my educational career over 20 years ago in 1997 as a Computer Science Connections teacher at Union County Middle School in Blairsville, GA.  Since that time, I have held both faculty and administrative positions at Young Harris College and North Georgia Technical College.  In 2008 I joined the CCSD Family as a science teacher at Creekview High School, teaching both Anatomy and Biology courses, co-sponsoring the school’s Aeronautics Team, and serving as the science department head.  After eight years at Creekview, I made the move to Woodstock High School as an Assistant Principal in charge of Career Tech education and eventually Curriculum.  In 2018, I was selected to be a part of the Superintendent’s Leadership Academy III, which helped my growth as a leader and helped to prepare me for the role of Principal.  In March of 2019 I was selected to serve as the principal of E.T. Booth for the 2019-20 school year.

Originally from Hobe Sound, FL, my family moved to Blairsville, GA when I was six years old.  My elementary through high school years were completed in Union County School System, and afterwards, I earned my A.S. in Biology from Young Harris College, my B.S. in Biology and M.Ed. from the University of North Georgia, my Ed.S. from Lincoln Memorial University, and my Leadership Endorsement from Kennesaw State University.

I am honored to be joining the Falcon Family this year and to be a part of the amazing Booth Community.  I intend to use my passion for education and my experience to serve the students, parents, and faculty of E.T. Booth with integrity.  If there is anything I can do for you, please don’t hesitate to contact me by phone at 770.721.5500 or by email at  Go Falcons!

I’m very excited to bring both my classroom experience and my program management experience at the Central Office to my administrative position here at E.T. Booth.

I am originally from Kennesaw, Georgia and graduated from North Cobb High School. With the exception of some extended TDYs in the Georgia Air National Guard and a brief relocation to McDonough, Georgia, I have lived my entire life in either Cobb or Cherokee County. I have earned both a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Kennesaw State University. While in the military, I made significant progress towards the Master of Aeronautical Science degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and in 2018, I earned my Education Specialist degree in Educational Leadership from Berry College. Prior to my career in education, I served 9 years with the Georgia Air National Guard as a Crew Chief on the F-15A/B Fighter and as a Quality Assurance Analyst on the B-1B Bomber. I also spent 5 years as a project manager in the commercial/industrial electrical construction industry. My wife and I have been married 24 years – we have a daughter who will be a freshman at UGA and a son who will be a junior at Blessed Trinity Catholic High School. I’m an avid road cyclist so if you see me on the road, please – don’t hit me.
