My name is Christina Brown. I graduated from the University of Georgia with a BSED in Middle Grades Science and Math education. I added my certification in Middle grades Social Studies and Reading. I also have my gifted certification. I am currently working on my master’s in Science education with an emphasis in Biology. This is my 20th year teaching science (or math). I taught 7th and 8th grade science and math in Barrow County for four years. I also taught 7th and 8th grade science and math at Woodstock Middle School for six years. This is my tenth year at E.T. Booth. I absolutely LOVE teaching at E.T. Booth and think this is one of the BEST schools! I have three wonderful children: Justin-22, Cameron- 18, and Rylee- 16. My oldest son is married and in the Navy. He just left for his first assignment in Hawaii. Cameron is beginning University of Georgia this fall to dual major in Psychology and Religion. GO DAWGS! My youngest, Rylee, is a junior at Etowah and participates in cross country and track. We have three dogs: a miniature dachshund named Milo, a shorkie (a Shiz tzu and Yorkie mix) named Zoey, and our newest addition- a black lab named Bailey. Since my mother’s side of the family lives in Germany, I also speak German. I am a Disney fanatic. I enjoy reading, baking, spending time with my family, video games, traveling, coffee, Pokemon Go!, and especially science!
