I received my B.S. in Middle Grades Education with an emphasis in Language Arts and Social Studies. I began my teaching career at Pickens County Middle School (PCMS) as a paraprofessional in 1997 and gained a 6th grade Language Arts position at PCMS in 1998. PCMS was my home until 2005, which is the year I transferred to E. T. Booth Middle School to teach Language Arts. I have been at E. T. Booth since 2005 and have acquired two additional degrees, Master and Specialist of Education, during that time. I have seen many great things while at Booth (including the opening of the new building in 2013) and plan to see many more wonderful things in the future!
