I am Hope George and this is my first year at E.T. Booth. I am excited to take this journey with you. Although I am new to E.T. Booth, I am coming with 14 years of teaching experience from Gilmer, Gwinnett, Rockdale and Newton Counties. I have spent time teaching in Elementary, Middle and High School. Most of my teaching career has been in middle grades science.
I graduated high school from Henry County Georgia and went on to receive my undergraduate degree from Atlanta Christian College, now known as Point University. I received my Master of Divinity from Mercer University in Atlanta and received a second Master's degree from Grand Canyon University.
In my free time I love to travel. I have traveled five continents and I would love to visit Australia and Antarctica to round out all seven. I love culture and I feel that everyone can learn from each other. I am married and my husband is a retired officer from Dekalb County. My mother also lives with us and brings so much joy into our lives. I would be remiss if I did not mention my 8 lb. furball "son" named Oscar who really runs the house and is far more spoiled than any dog I have ever met. I look forward to this year and here if you have any questions. Let's make it a great year.
