My name is June Mann, and this year is my 30th year of teaching! I attended Elon University and received my bachelor’s degree in education. I later earned a master’s in education from the University of Alabama, (Roll Tide!). In addition my social studies certification, I am also certified in gifted education and ELA. I taught fifth grade in Fulton County for 23 years. This is my 7th year teaching middle school; my fifth at Booth. I am thrilled to be a member of the sixth grade team.
I have four daughters, who attended schools in Cherokee County. I enjoy traveling, (especially to the beach, or on cruises.) We have visited 48 of the 50 states! I love spending time with my family, especially my precious grandchildren, reading, and various crafts. In what little spare time I have, I show, and occasionally breed, standard long-haired dachshunds.
