My name is Kacee Andrews, and I am an eighth grade English language arts teacher. I also serve as the ELA department chair. I hold certifications in secondary English (grades 6-12), middle grades reading, and special education with a gifted endorsement and an ESOL endorsement. I earned my master’s degree from Kennesaw State University and my specialist’s degree from the University of West Georgia.
This is my seventh year at E.T. Booth. In that time, I have worked in the extended school day tutoring program (ExP), served as the team RTI representative, co-sponsored the student Relay for Life team, and served as a department chair and PLC facilitator. Mrs. Graves, the media specialist, and I have collaborated to engage students in alternative learning experiences, including BreakOutEDU (content-based activity similar to an Escape Room), poetry readings, and research projects.
I look forward to learning and growing with my students this year.
