I began my career in 2000 as a special education teacher in Cobb County. Teaching for so many years, I have taught or co-taught almost every subject. While most of my experience is in teaching students with special needs, I’ve also taught elementary school and was a Specialized Instruction Consultant for Cobb County. Over the course of my career I have had extensive professional development in mathematics and reading instruction to better serve the students in my classes. I’ve been teaching in Cherokee County since 2014.
My family history in this county goes back to the 1700s. So, I am a true Georgia native. I earned my B.A. in Psychology from Georgia State University, B.S and M.S in Education from Florida State University, and my Ed.S. in Special Education and Special Education Leadership from Georgia State University. This is going to be a great school year. Go Falcons!
