My name is Madison Hester and I have been teaching ELA here at E.T. Booth Middle School for over 5 years now. I grew up in Cherokee County and graduated from Cherokee High School in 2011. I proceeded with my education at the University of North Georgia where I received my diploma in Middle Grades Education. I am currently certified in Reading, Language Arts and Social Studies. I took my education further and received my Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction at Georgia Southern University in 2019. While I've been a teacher, I have been certified in ESOL and this year I will be receiving my Gifted Certification. I strongly believe that books are doorways to higher education. My love for books is something I always try to pass down to my students. I always teach my students to push themselves past their limits and reach their goals. I think teachers should teach academic knowledge as well as life lessons on how to be a better individual. Teaching has always been a passion of mine and I am excited for a new school year!
