Hey there! My name is Michelle Torson. I was born and raised just north of Atlanta in Marietta. I graduated from Kell High School and attended Kennesaw State University where I majored in middle grades education. In 2020 I completed my master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction at Berry College I began my teaching career at a non-profit school for students with special needs, in Fulton County. I taught there three years before coming to E.T. Booth. This will be my fourth year teaching Language Arts at Booth. I previously taught 7th grade and now have the pleasure to work with 8th grade. My husband Philip and I are high school sweethearts and have been married for eight years. We currently live in Kennesaw with our daughter Madison (3) and our chocolate lab Oakley. I love all Atlanta sports teams and enjoy watching college football. Go Dawgs! When I am not at school you can find me on Lake Allatoona with my family or kayaking down a local river.
