I graduated from Kennesaw State University with a degree in Social Science Education. I have my Master’s degree in Instructional Design and Technology from Walden University and am currently pursuing my Specialist’s degree in Media Instructional Technology at West Georgia University. This is my 17th year teaching and my 13th year teaching at Booth Middle School and my 7th year teaching 6th grade. I have been married for over 30 years and have 2 grown children. I am a Navy Veteran and my husband is a retired Navy Chief. We have lived in Washington, DC, Florida, and Georgia. We also lived in Iceland for 3 years. Due to my love of geography and history, I love to travel and have visited The Grand Canyon, Zion National Park, Four Corners, Valley of Fire State Park, The Alamo, Mayan ruins in Mexico and several other points in-between.
