Nakitah Hamilton

2020 - 2021 Eighth Grade Last Updated: 7/28/2020 9:50 PM

My name is Ms. Nakitah Hamilton and this is my sixth year teaching, but my first at E. T. Booth! Before making my transition into Cherokee County, I taught in the Fulton County School System for five years. During my time with Fulton County, I served as a grade level chair, science chair, textbook coordinator, and the 2019 Teacher of the Year for my school. My bachelors degree is in Early Childhood Education, but I am certified to teach both middle school math and science. I currently hold an ESOL and Gifted Endorsement. My goal is to be certified to teach science in k-12 by the end of the 2020-2021 school year.

When I am not in my classroom, I love to backpack across the world. I have been to 48 of the 50 United States and 13 different countries. I have one fur baby named Onyx who loves to take “cat” naps with me.

Communication is key in life and in my classroom! If you ever need to get in touch with me, feel free to send me an email at
