Dr. Crawford has been in the field of special education for 28 years. She received her Master’s of Education in 1991 from Georgia State University and her Ph.D. in Education in 2000 from the University of Virginia. Dr. Crawford has taught in the public and private sectors as well as in the University setting training new teachers in the field. She has taught in Georgia, Virginia, and Iowa. She has one daughter who just graduated from North Cobb High School and will be attending Kennesaw State University and a husband who is also in the field of education. Dr. Crawford is passionate about working with students who have special needs and providing them with an outstanding education.
