The Cherokee County Board of Education accepts its ultimate responsibility for all facets of school operations and fiscal management. As such, the School Board authorizes the Superintendent to administer employee compensation in accordance with the adopted annual budget and associated salary schedules. As it is accountable to district students and the community, the School District will maintain an employee payroll procedures schedule that meets all requirements of both State and local Board policy.
All professional personnel employed by the School District both at the school and central office level must hold a valid Georgia Certificate as required by the Professional Standards Commission.
