CCSD Engages Community in Strategic Plan Development

CCSD Engages Community in Strategic Plan Development

The Cherokee County School District tonight engaged more community members in developing a plan for its future!

The Elevate 2032 long-range strategic plan will be developed for School Board adoption using stakeholder feedback gathered through focus groups meetings, a community forum, and an online survey.  At this evening's forum open to the community at large, participants shared feedback for continued improvement.  School Board members Dr. Susan Padgett-Harrison and Erin Ragsdale joined Superintendent of Schools Mary Elizabeth Davis in listening to the community and learning about their vision for the district’s future.

“Our schools are the heart of our community.  If you don’t have strong schools, you don’t have economic development,” Ms. Ragsdale said.  “I’m really excited you came tonight.  We really do want to hear what you have to say and what’s important to you.”

Community members who prefer to participate by sharing feedback online are invited to complete, by May 1, the survey at: https://tinyurl.com/CCSDsurvey26  Learn more and follow along on the journey to Elevate 2032 by visiting the webpage at www.cherokeek12.net/board-of-education/elevate-2032
