CCSD Leader Appointed to Statewide Advisory Council
A Cherokee County School District leader has been appointed to a statewide advisory council.
Dr. Tara Quinn-Schuldt, CCSD’s coordinator of student support, will serve this school year on the Georgia Department of Education’s School Social Work Advisory Council.
She is one of only 30 social workers statewide selected to represent their colleagues at the state level and provide their professional insight to GaDOE leaders.
Dr. Quinn-Schuldt was appointed to her new role as coordinator this summer after serving as a student support specialist for CCSD.
A 19-year professional in her field, she most recently was honored this spring with the 2024 Goshen Spirit Award presented by Goshen Valley in recognition of her support for the foster youth the organization serves.
