CCSD Recognizes Athletes of the Month for October
The Cherokee County School District recognizes two outstanding high school student athletes each month.
Congratulations to this month’s winners: Female Athlete of the Month Ally Page for volleyball for River Ridge High School, whose head coach is Julie Wilt-Winfield; and Male Athlete of the Month Leif Hansen for football for Sequoyah High School, whose head coach is James Teter.
Athletes are nominated by their high schools, and a committee selects an overall winner. Congratulations to the honorees and their coaches and thank you to award sponsor, BSN, and to our School Board for its continued investment in student athletics!
