CCSD Student Earns National Scholarship
A Cherokee County School District Class of 2026 graduate has earned a national competitive scholarship!
Cullen Stacy, who graduated this spring from River Ridge High School, is a recipient of the Mayo Clinic Dependent Scholarship, receiving $12,000 over four years toward college tuition and academic fees. Recipients are selected by the Mayo Foundation Board of Trustees based on SAT or ACT scores, with selected students ranking in the top 10 to 25% of applicants nationwide.
Cullen plans to attend Georgia Southern University to study biochemistry with a concentration in forensics before pursuing law school. Our School Board is laser focused on ensuring our students are learning more, growing more, and achieving more in our classrooms than they could anywhere else!
