CCSD Students Earn Perfect Score on National Latin Exam
Two Cherokee County School District students have achieved the rare feat of earning perfect scores on a national exam!
Woodstock High School rising seniors Isla Price and Joshlyn Shi both earned perfect scores on this year’s National Latin Exam. Fewer than 1% of the tens of thousands of high school students worldwide who take the test each year achieve a perfect score.
They took the exam, which measures master of Latin language, grammar, and cultural knowledge, after completing the Latin III course taught by Kellie Baglio, recently named the Georgia Junior Classical League Teacher of the Year. Congratulation to our students and Ms. Baglio! Our School Board is laser focused on ensuring our students are learning more, growing more, and achieving more in our classrooms than they could anywhere else.
