CCSD Students Named to All-State Band, Orchestra

Eighteen Cherokee County School District high school students earned seats in the prestigious Georgia Music Educators Association All-State Band and Orchestra programs! 

Congratulations to the students and their teacher directors and thank you to our School Board for its laser focus on ensuring our students are learning more, growing more, and achieving more in our classrooms than they could anywhere else!

Students from Georgia high schools and middle schools statewide audition for these selective performance opportunities.  This year’s events were held earlier this month at The Classic Center in Athens.  The Cherokee County School Board and Superintendent of Schools will recognize the students and their teacher directors at this month’s School Board meeting.
