“He is more than just a coworker -- he's more like family.” The Ralph Bunche Preschool community gathered today to celebrate longtime custodian David McMickens’s 50th anniversary of service at the Canton school. Superintendent of Schools Mary Elizabeth Davis, colleagues, former students, family, and friends turned out to share lunch, memories, and laughter with Mr. Mickens. Thank you to Mr. Mickens for the role you play in ensuring our students are learning more, growing more, and achieving more in our classrooms than they could anywhere else. We’re on a mission to be the highest-performing school district in Georgia – and the district known for its contagious joy and optimism!
