Cherokee HS Video Tour and Second Open House
Did you miss our ribbon-cutting and open house for the new home of Cherokee High School? You can watch this quick video tour for a peek inside … and/or you can come to our “second look” open house event on Saturday, July 18! The doors at 1500 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. in Canton will open at 10 a.m. and promptly close at noon. Within budget and opening for the first day of school on Aug. 3, our School Board-approved new campus replaces our oldest high school, which opened in 1956. The new school is designed to accommodate our 2,600 current students plus growth up to a total enrollment of more than 3,000 students. Thank you to our community for supporting the continuation of the 1% Education-SPLOST sales tax that funded its construction.
