Congratulations to our CCSD School Nutrition Teams of the Year!

Congratulations to our CCSD School Nutrition Teams of the Year!

Congratulations to our School Nutrition Teams of the Year: Holly Springs ES STEM Academy and E.T. Booth Middle School!  These top honors for overall excellence were announced at today’s back-to-school training for all our School Nutrition professionals.

“Communities are created largely through shared experiences, shared meals, and shared tables, and you are setting the table for our success!” Superintendent of Schools Mary Elizabeth Davis said as she celebrated all CCSD School Nutrition professionals at this morning’s event, where she was joined by School Board Chair Janet Read Welch.

The winning team members each received $100 gift cards from the Cherokee County Educational Foundation and gifts from numerous sponsors, as well as a $500 grant for their cafeteria’s operations also from CCEF.

Congratulations to our runner-up teams, which also received CCEF cafeteria grants: for elementary, Hasty ES Fine Arts Academy and Clark Creek ES STEM Academy; for middle/high: Mill Creek MS and Dean Rusk MS.

We're on a mission to be the highest-performing school district in Georgia -- and the district known for its contagious optimism and joy!
