Happy First Day of School! We started the new school year today at our schools districtwide including the new home of Cherokee High School. Our School Board members and Superintendent of Schools Mary Elizabeth Davis visited schools throughout the day to welcome students, see learning already underway in our classrooms, and thank our amazing teachers and support staff. We're on a mission to be the highest-performing school district in Georgia -- and the district known for its contagious optimism and joy.
