In the principal’s words: “Soleil at Laurel Canyon Book Clubs contacted us to offer a partnership to support literacy across Cougar Nation. Their collaboration has had a significant impact in such a short time. Last year, the group provided new books for our first-graders, and they worked with our media specialist to choose a book that would be a ‘perfect fit.’ They also provide funds for literacy resources based on the school's needs. The group is passionate about getting books into the hands of students to encourage a love of reading beginning at a young age!”
