Today is National School Nurse Appreciation Day! School Board member Dr. Susan Padgett-Harrison, along with Superintendent Mary Elizabeth Davis and several district leaders, surprised Dawn Beasley at Tippens Education Center with some sweet treats and a gift card to express their appreciation for the exceptional job she does caring for Tippens students. As an additional surprise, Nurse Dawn’s family also attended the visit, including her daughter who drove in this morning from South Carolina! Nurse Dawn is the CCSD 2024 Nurse of the Year and has been working at Tippens since 2010.
