School Board Members Welcome Students at "Last First Day" for Cherokee High Campus
Our School Board members greeted students Friday morning at Cherokee High School to celebrate the "last first day" at the original campus, handing out commemorative magnets to mark the milestone. This will be the last school year at the 1956 facility, with the new Cherokee High School on track to open for 2026-27, thanks to Ed SPLOST funding. Faculty are wearing special shirts today, with drawings of the old and the new schools on the back. #CCSDElevateTheExcellence #ccsd1stday2025 #OnceAlways
