School Board Visits Creekland MS

“They’re so engaged. The critical thinking was unbelievable -- it was extremely deep learning, and no one was drifting,” School Board member-elect Hayden Holcomb said during the School Board’s visit to Creekland Middle School classrooms today. Board members and Superintendent of Schools Mary Elizabeth Davis regularly visit schools to see the success achieved through alignment from the boardroom to the classroom. Today, Vice Chair Patsy Jordan, Board member Dr. Susan Padgett-Harrison, and Mr. Holcomb popped into Creekland MS classrooms to observe learning in action and see our amazing teachers and staff at work. They learned from Principal Josh Martin and his administrative team how the school is improving and enjoyed a CCSD School Nutrition lunch from the cafeteria.
