School Board Visits River Ridge High School!

"Right here, we are witnessing the alignment that exists from our boardroom to our classrooms resulting in the most extraordinary growth and outcomes," Superintendent of Schools Mary Elizabeth Davis said as she celebrated River Ridge High School's impressive gains in student performance. Superintendent Davis and our School Board members regularly visit schools for tours and today visited River Ridge HS led by Principal Justin Sanderson.

During these visits, board members pop into classrooms to see learning in action and how incredible our teachers and staff are, and they learn from leaders how the school is improving. They also enjoy a CCSD School Nutrition lunch from the cafeteria.

As part of today's visit, the board additionally toured the newly opened auxiliary gym, which was funded by our community through our Education-SPLOST.
