Teacher Appreciation Month Spotlight: Kellie Jo Baglio of Woodstock HS!

In honor of Teacher Appreciation Month, we’re celebrating a school 2025 Teacher of the Year each day!  Latin teacher Kellie Jo Baglio, a 16-year educator, is the Teacher of the Year for Woodstock High School and a CCSD Teacher of the Year finalist!

“As a teacher and mentor, she is once in a lifetime,” a former student shared.  “Beyond her remarkable resume, Mrs. Baglio is an irreplaceable friend.  She leaves every student who enters her classroom profoundly transformed.  She works tirelessly to cultivate a culture of care throughout her classes, leaving each individual feeling loved, inspired, and heard.  It’s a contagious environment where other teachers can’t help but model their own classrooms off her’s.  She guarantees that all of her students will succeed regardless of how much tough love it takes.  Although effortlessly understanding, Mrs. Baglio will not hesitate to get you back in line to ensure your progression in her course and maturation as a person.”
