Teacher Appreciation Month Spotlight: Kelly Robertson of Tippens EC!
In honor of Teacher Appreciation Month, we’re celebrating a school 2025 Teacher of the Year each day! Special Education teacher Kelly Robertson, a nine-year educator, is the Teacher of the Year for Tippens Education Center!
“Mrs. Robertson was a kind, creative, sincere, and a responsive educator,” shared a former student’s parent. “I was impressed with Mrs. Robertson’s dedication, support and connection. Mrs. Robertson was always involved with my son’s education outside of her classroom as well. She stayed in touch and active in my son’s education and fostered a strong school to home connection, even attending his high school graduation. Her rapport with my son was natural and instinctive. Mrs. Robertson was a second mom to my son in many ways like that. My child blossomed in her presence.”
