Thank you to our CCSD Police Officers! To celebrate National School Resource Officer Appreciation Day, which is Feb. 15, our School Board at its monthly meeting tonight recognized the 35 POST-certified officers who make up our state-certified police department. Our officers play a critically important role in ensuring our students safely and securely learn, grow and achieve more in our classrooms than they could anywhere else. Our School Board's investment in safety and security would not be possible without the support of local educational funding from our community. The audience showed our community’s support by rising for a standing ovation for our officers.
