Top Young Musicians Perform in Middle School Honor Band

The Cherokee County School District’s top young musicians recently performed together for the third annual CCSD Middle School Honor Band program.

The 188 outstanding sixth- and seventh-grade band students represented all seven CCSD middle schools.  As part of the program, students rehearsed together and then performed a concert at Dean Rusk Middle School.  The guest conductors were Lloyd McDonald of Clear Creek MS in Gilmer County and Tab Brown of Rome High School.
