All boys and girls interested in playing golf this season need to attend a meeting on Wednesday morning at 7:45AM in room 1208.

Spirit night at Buffalo’s this Thursday benefiting the RRHS band. Whether you eat in or get carry out from Buffalo’s, tell them you are with River Ridge this Thursday!

Interested in making a positive difference in the community, volunteering, networking, working on leadership skills, and making friends? Then come the FCCLA, Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America informational meeting on Friday @ 7:45 in room 1318.  Muffins will be served because FCCLA would be muffin without you! 

Seniors mark your calendar! There will be an important informational FAFSA meeting Tuesday October 13th @ 6:30pm-8pm in the River Ridge High School Auditorium.  Seniors and their parents are invited. Students and parents will come to the auditorium and will be able to interact with Mr. Hillard virtually.

In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, the Diversity Awareness Program will present one fact a day about a notorious Hispanic Person:

Ellen Ochoa became the first Hispanic woman to go to space when she boosted to orbit with the space shuttle Discovery in 1993. Ochoa has spent a total of almost 1,000 hours in space aboard four different missions. She is a co-inventor on three patents for optical systems and is currently the director of the Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas. There are four schools named after her -- two in her home state of California, one in Texas and one in Washington.
