Students, don’t forget there will be an elective fair this Thursday night from 7:15 to 8:00 pm in the Media Center and 1300 hall. Come learn more about elective offerings at the Ridge!

Interested in photography, art, and design? Passionate about working as a team on an awesome project? Do you like food and celebrations? Have fun…. Get creative…. Join yearbook!  See Mrs. Cleveland in room 1118 to pick up an application for next year’s staff.

Tryouts for anyone wishing to participate in Girls Lacrosse will be held on Tuesday, January 21st and Wednesday, January 22nd from 3:30 – 5:15 in the Stadium. In order to be eligible to tryout you must have a Green Physical Packet filled out in its entirety on file in the Athletic Office. Packets can be picked up in the main office or in Room 2302. No Physical means no tryout. If you have any questions, please see Coach Phillips.

Friday is the deadline for submission of Exceptional Children's Week Art Competition.  Winning entry will be used to create all marketing materials including a T-Shirt design!  Great opportunity for an art portfolio.

PTSA Stars and Strikes Lock-In.  $35/student.  RRHS PTSA is excited to invite all students 8th through 12th grade to the 2nd Annual River Ridge High School PTSA Lock-In at Stars and Strikes from 11:45 pm Sunday, 1/19 to 6am Monday, 1/20 (yes Monday is a holiday). We are expecting a great turnout. Last year we had 250 students!  Includes UNLIMITED Bowling, Laser Tag, Bumper Cars, and Arcade. Pizza will be served (2 slices each) with unlimited Drinks. You will need cash for concessions, which will be open all night with popcorn, pretzels, cotton candy, etc. No outside food or drink permitted. 

Beta Club’s January meeting is on Tuesday January 21st at 7:30 AM in the auditorium. Please be there by 7:30 AM on Tuesday the 21st for the Beta Club photo in the yearbook.

Work-Based Learning & Internship Pre-Registration is now OPEN online now using the Link sent to ALL Juniors and Sophomores via school email.

Sophomores and Juniors – you must be 16 years old and you must Pre-Register by this FRIDAY to be considered for selection in the Work-Based Learning Internship Program. Check your school email TODAY to access the link to the Form.
