You can preorder your literary magazine before Valentine's Day, February 14th, for only $6.  Orders can be placed online on the school website or can be paid in cash or check in room 1116.

Exceptional Children's Week celebrates our differences and encourages inclusion. Show your support by purchasing and wearing "Don't Dis My Abilities" t-shirt, designed by Simone Goins.  Deadline to order the shirt is Friday, February 14th and costs only $15.  Order forms are available in the front office. Exceptional Children's Week is the first week of March.

February is Black History Month and today we would like to recognize W.E.B DuBois. DuBoise was the first black Ph. D graduate from Harvard. DuBoise was instrumental in the founding of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People. Today the NAACP continues to be a prominent political voice among the African American Community.

February is Career Technical Education Month! Career and technical education (CTAE) are classes that teach specific career skills to students. Career Tech is split into 16 career clusters that apply to different high-demand careers. Here is a fact each day for why you should consider pursuing a career tech pathway:

A CTAE Program of Study is a sequence of courses that links secondary and postsecondary education, integrates challenging academic and technical instruction and leaks to an industry-recognized credential of value.
