Congratulations to the River Ridge Varsity Swim Team for their win Saturday in the Cherokee County Relays.  This was the team's first victory in the yearly relay event, topping Etowah, Woodstock, and Creekview to take home the title.  The boys team won 8 of 9 events, and the girls team took first in 5 of 9 events.  The team travels to Rome Thursday night to compete in its first tri-meet of the season.

Do you like Science, Math, Technology, and Engineering? Do you like to work with elementary students? Then Sprouting STEMs is for you! This club will go to Johnston Elementary School to share 4 different STEM lesson with the After School Program students. If you would like more information, please see Ms. Freeman in room 2108 or Ms. Norton in 1310.

9th, 10th, and 11th graders: Please stop by the hallway outside the cafeteria (near student parking lot entrance) to verify your name, grade level, and portrait for the yearbook.  You are responsible for checking your own photo/information and have two weeks to make corrections. Any issues need to be reported by November 22nd via the QR code/link posted on the wall with the pictures. After this window, corrections cannot be made for underclassmen yearbook portraits or information.

Winter Guard season is approaching.  There will be a clinic today from 4:30-7:30pm in the cafeteria and open to all students grades 6-12 who would like to come see what Winter Guard is all about.  Auditions will be held November 18th, 19th and 21st.  

Attention River Ridge, help keep recycling going at The Ridge! Tomorrow is the LAST DAY to bring a dollar into your science teacher to help your class turn the Dollars for a Difference fundraiser into DONUTS for a Difference for your science class. The science class that raises the most money will earn themselves a donut party. Keep it green! 

It’s that time of year again!  Stockings for Seniors is collecting personal care items for the senior citizens of Cherokee County.  Drop off any full size shampoo, conditioner, body wash, soap, shaving cream, or lotion.  Make a senior citizen’s Christmas a little brighter.  Drop off locations include: Media center, Ms. Jordan’s room, Mrs. Sawicki’s room or Mrs. Modrzynski’s room. No travel size please.  All donations are due no later than November 22nd.

Menchies will be here during all four lunches TODAY! Bring your $3.00 for a tasty treat!
