Varsity softball team picked up two region wins against Johns Creek last night winning 14-0 and 15-0. Way to go ladies! The next game is Thursday at Cambridge. 

Students there are only 26 tickets left for Friday night’s home game!

If you love art, photography, writing, or fun projects, if you want to let your creativity run free, look no further. The RRHS Literary Magazine is holding an interest meeting for those interested in being a part of the Editorial and Design Committee. This meeting will take place today after school from 3:20 to 4:00 in Mrs. Bulger's room (1116). Bring ideas and let's create together!

Are you interested in science?  Want to learn more and go farther than you do in class?  Join the Science Olympiad!  Our first meeting is Thursday at 7:45 am in room 2121.

Attention all RRHS new and returning swimmers!  We will have an informational meeting on Thursday at 7:50 a.m. in the RRHS auditorium.  If you have a conflict and cannot attend, please see Coach Goodbread.

Do you like active and lively discourse? Can verbally construct a valid argument to support your stance and position on a topic? Then Debate Club is for you!! Debate club will be meeting on Thursdays at 3:15 in Ms. Beyer's room 2311

Hey Nicholas Sparks fans—the author himself will be meeting and autographing books here in Woodstock on Sat. Oct. 2nd and we have 2 FREE TICKETS to give away from the Library!  The school’s TOP reader of the month on Sora will win the tickets and the opportunity to meet Nicholas Sparks in person at Fox Tale BookShoppe!!!

If you are interested in joining the River Ridge chapter of the Rho Kappa Social Studies Honor Society, contact Mr. Cleveland in Room 2328. You must have taken two years of Social Studies courses with at least one Honors or AP credit. Please be prepared to provide your transcript to Mr. Cleveland by September 29th when applying.

Tomorrow is Constitution Day. Come check out the display board outside the media center and see your Social Studies teacher for information on how to register to vote on Thursday.
